Glad to see you back after ages.
Hope you enjoyed your outing to Italy.
You have captured a beautiful view of this high altitude lake.
Looking forward to more pics from your holiday.
As you observed on my Wagtail picture, these compact cameras have a tendency to focus on the background and leave part of the subject in soft focus, Luciano. That's what has happened in your picture too here; focus on the left wing tip has gone soft. The species of Moth. however, is gorgeous.
A delightful capture of this bird confined to a specific region in the world, Daniel.
Excellent sharpness and lovely colours. The blue background suits the image.
Quite a hairy and colourful Caterpillar, Nilson.
Interesting point of view and nice composition.
Indeed, this is our first sighting of this kind of insect, Luciano.
It's a particularly colourful species with very interesting markings on it.
The image is razor sharp that leaves nothing to imagination.
They certainly look beautiful with those straight lines on their metallic green backs, Ron. The genus of Beetles is really very large and I hope your identification is right.
Assuming the purple flower to be fairly small, it is a marvellous macro image with pin sharp focus on all the nine insects.
Cyber-shot is not the right camera for a subject in flight, Luciano. You needed a DSLR with correct settings. Nevertheless, it is valiant effort to capture a rare species.
I would, therefore, give you half the credit for trying!
The genus of Blues is quite confusing at times, Luciano.
Glad you have got the correct ID of this Common Blue.
Surrounded by patches of various bright colours, the butterfly looks really beautiful.
Amazing view of these birds flying together in a huge flock, Marius.
Danube Delta seems like a great bird sanctuary in your region.
Thanks for sharing another great picture from your outing there.
These are the wonders of nature and they leave you thinking about the history of our planet,Laszlo.
A well controlled capture to show the formation with fine details. The contrasts look good in the artificial lighting.
The shape reminds me of a Dinosaur. :)
