[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
I had captured this juvenile 'European Bee-Eater' (Merops apiaster) in Kruger National Park during our morning game drive.

The only Bee Eater with Brown back. Very colourful and slender bodied Bee Eater.

But it's a juvenile one, so colour looks bit pale. I will post adult European Bee Eater another day.

In this picture I don't like the shadow of branch on the back of the bird.

Hi Srikumar,no problem for the branch shadow on the bird,we can't change these things as the background of my butterflies...you caught the best by this moment and the result is excellent, very bright plumage colors and good sharpness too on the same background color of your last pic, well done! Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hi Sri,
Sometimes there are things we can't change, like that small shadow of a branch here. However, although it's a little disturbing, doesn't destruct the image. Lights are wonderful and colors are fabulous, sharpness is ok, meanwhile the composition's eye-pleasing. Good shot overall, I like it.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Great shot of one of my favorite birds Srikumar,
The shadow doesn't bother me a bit since it is taken in the wild, and not in a studio setting. Very sharp and wonderful eye contact. The exposure is terrific, especially considering the lighting you had to deal with.
Ron

Hi Srikumar,

The bird is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the European Bee-Eater. It is clear and sharp. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colours. Have a nice day.

Pierre

Ciao Srikumar, great capture of lovely bird in nice pose, fantastic colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello Srikumar,
This young Bee Eater has interesting has feathers with interesting colors.....This specie migrates in Europe. In the region I live they make nests on the ground in the sandy riverbanks of Timis river. I made some photos with them. They arrived late this year because of the cold weather in May.....
Marius.
