[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
I had photographed this 'Greater Blue-Eared Starling' in Kruger National Park. She was busy to make a nest for her little ones. Light wasn't in my favour so here you can't cherish the beauty of its feather colours.

The different species of glossy blue-green starling are best distinguished in good light. This bird has the most lustrous colour of them all. As the name indicates, the side of the head are dark. The belly and flanks are royal blue, you could see.

Hi Srikumar, another top class pic, this time this metallic blue beauty with the food in the beak, impressive quality of the plumage colors, not easy, and the usual top sharpness. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hi Srikumar,

The branch is helping to frame the bird. The point of view is showing the details of the Greater Blue-Eared Starling. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Srikumar,
This is wonderful even without sunlight. Probably the metallic blue feathers might be more spectacular in sun - but the lateral PoV is fantastic, such as sharpness. Great background blur as well. Probably, if you increase saturation and contrast a touch, you can get almost similar effect than the lacking sunlight. Just an idea, obviously.
Kind regards, László
