|[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista|
|This Black-faced Monkey seemed to pay little attention to me as I crept closer for a shot. I have seen plenty of monkeys in zoos, but very few in the wild like this.|
I'm sure people who live in areas where monkeys are plentiful pay them little attention, but for me this was a special treat.

Excellent image with such amazing details. I like the way you captured this interesting monkey sitting on the branch.
Seems very comfortable in that gap in the branches of a tree, Ron!
Excellent portrait of a black-faced monkey you saw in Tanzania.
We have plenty of these monkeys in India, especially near temples. They are least troublesome unlike the red-faced rhesus monkeys and stay quiet and aloof. People here revere them by associating them to the clan from which the Hindu god Hanuman came.

Thanks for sharing ths special one with us. The composition and the technical details are excellent. The contrast of the face to the body is quite remarkable.
Have a pleasant weekend,
The curve of the tree trunk frames the sitting monkey extremely well, and provides a nice match in color for the animal itself. Possibly you could dodge its face a tad to lighten it for the viewer.
