Another very beautiful photo from you, my friend and an excellent note to go with it!
I was always fond of this part of physics and therefore i appreciate such a post a lot. The note is very interesting and educational and a pleasure to read.
The image itself is great, with another perspective from your long sea voyage.
Superb colors, very well thought of composition respecting the rule of the thirds and good details throughout the entire image.
Very nice work!
Bravo and TFS

Wonderful composition - with typical high latitude colours. I like the bank of ice-contact fog hanging over the ice on the left and the lovely cirrus clouds.

Well, whatever the reason for the blueness, this is a terrific land- and seascape Krzysztof, TFS indeed my friend!

Very beautiful 'blue' image.
Not only the water is blue but also that wonderful sky.
I thought the water is blue 'cause it absorbs the complementary colour (chemically) which is yellow and thus reflects the remaining colour which is blue? Same reasoning for red and cyan.
Vibrations...that's a new theory? Guess you need light in the first place?
Well done anyway;-)

what a great post and an incredibly interesting note.
I always thought it was a reflection from the sky because when there is no blue sky, the blue colour from the water disapears... in England atleast.
Rich colours and perfect saturation.
Superb clarity and detail.
Thanks incredibly much for sharing this and teaching me something new.

I will never be able to survive in a place like this, because I cannot stand the cold, and Loot always refer to me an iceberg especially in the winter. But I think I would love to see a scenery like this in real life. The blues of the water and the sky is really stunning. My compliments for this well captured, very cold looking landscape. The exposure and focus is spot on with total sharpness and lots of details to appreciate. A serene view which I appreciated tremendously.

Very interesting notations and confirming that which I have said as per same phenomenon in snow during low light conditions...It is quite the scientific study and perhaps hard from some to read, but as I read your notes and apply it to this as many of your images, I do understand completely. Very nice and good lesson!

Well, this "Blue" is just marvellous, the color of the whole picture is amazing and so refreshing. The composition with a large space allocated to the sky underlines the blue effect and gives the picture a deep perspective.

je prefere l'artique blue a l'artique gray!
les couleurs sont evidement plus jolies et donne d'avantage envie de se rendre sur place.
