Common Peacock Pansy
This is such a beautiful and colourful image. The detail of the butterfly is captured with great clarity. The markings and patterns on the wings are bright and lovely and really pleasing to the eye. The two large circles on the wings have a picture of a sunset hidden in it. This is in actual fact a very pleasing image. I passed it at first because of the fact that there is no note or even an attempt of a note that accompanies it, but I returned because it is noteworthy. Please take the following as positive and up building criticism. You are not really going to get far building or expanding your portfolio if you do not partake in 1st. Supplying information of some kind with your postings and 2nd. To critique fellow members for their contributions to the site, especially the ones that left a good and positive feedback at your images. It is not fair to expect people to come and give encouraging criticism on your images but you are not willing to do the same. You have been a member of the site for 5 days and already posted 4 colourful and most delightful images, but did not critique anybody up to now. If language is a problem to you, it is not a problem to the most fellow members as the most know how to use the translator supplied on the site. Thanks for sharing this vividly beautiful butterfly.

A very good photo with a lovely butterfly. Colors are super. But there is some small clearity problem...
Good picture again, but if you don't write at least return critiques on other people's pictures, you would remain unnoticed. Anna has already advised you about it in the most encouraging terms.
Give and take is essential on any photo sharing site.
Hope you would give it a thought.
Thanks for sharing.
Also, try to write a note on your subject.

a nice capture of Peacock Pansy
in his natural environment
good details and colors
Welcome to TN community with this post entry of a butterfly hunt. Your participation here looks promising with your several insect shots and by a Kodak.
One thing is certain on this capture, the light is taken great advantage to show the good detail and focus sharpness on the wings and its body. The fact that the green plant does not cause more distraction to the shot is a way of showing the skill in your composition and exposure - natural light that brightens the butterfly as your main subject. I also cannot miss to take notice of what Anna wrote to you on very pertinent points of your entry into TN regarding giving critiques and that you had in fact responded very positively with good notes in place, a reply and some critiques given. I am sure you will go into showing and sharing very interesting posts to come in this manner. I believe India has good choices of subjects for you to show us.
Good work. Greetings from Malaysia.

A bit later, but still welcome to TN.
I hope you are already enjoying the site.A very nice capture...bringing out the well saturated colours and details of the Peacock Pansy. The fine natural light falling on the open winged subject and its diagonal placement on the left.
Look forward to more of your pictures.
TFS & Cheers

A fine open-wing capture of the Peacock Pansy taken with excellent sharpness and lighting against the leafy BG.
Normally I would say the composition includes too much space on the left but the OOF leaves also give depth to the BG, which adds interest to the image so it's fine as it is.
Thanks for sharing this beauty,
