[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
I met this huge hairy beast on my way to Tso Moriri Lake, Ladakh. It was quite cool and was least concern about my presence in approximity. I was told by local people that it is Bezoar Ibex (Capra aegagrus aegagrus).

Dear Subhash, I like your ''down to earth'' experience with this Ibex.

It looks very different from the Alpine Ibex, which I encountered numerous times in Switzerland. My books are parcelled for my house moving and I can not look it up. But from memory - the one in your photo appears much heavier and the horns shorter. Though the latter might have to do with the age of the animal...

You managed well the problem with exposure, which always occurs with big black objects...

The profile shot allows the viewer to study the face.

I think, this interesting image would be even better, if you had sharpened it a bit.

Enjoy the rest of your day
Warm Greetings

Hello Subhash,
A fine capture of a Bezoar Ibex, I think a new species for TN: congratulations! Excellent POV taken with nice sharpness and natural colours against a contrasting BG.
Thanks and best regards,
