[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
I had captured this Damselfly in our yard. I don't know exactly what kind of species it is. Hope my TN friends can help me to find out its ID. Then I shall be able to add NOTE. Now about this picture I can say that this Damselfly is very slim and almost camouflaged against muddy ground. I had to keep my chest on the ground to take a decent eye-level POV. Attractive species to me.....................THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Marius, Andy, Silvio and Asbed for your encouragement. Special THANKS to Nikos, Luciano and Ron to try to find out the species. I am glad that you all like this picture*******************Today is Holiday, So after spending a long time(also with the help of INW), I came to a conclusion that it's a 'mid-stage female' of "COPERA MARGINIPES". Their common name is " Yellow Bush Dart " Or " Yellow Featherlegs ". Exposed ditches, Ponds and Lakes to forested trickles and streams are their habitat. This species is very widely distributed from India to China and south to Java and the Lesser Sunda Islands. It is very common over much of its range, but apparently absent or very scarce in the north of Borneo, where there is just one questionable record from Sabah. ( You are requested if you are not agree with me about this species, not to hesitate to inform me ).

Hello Srikumar,
Wish I could help with the ID, but at this point I haven't been able to find a photo that matches. Nicely captured in an attractive pose and displaying beautiful colors and just the right exposure. This particular specimen appears to have a very long abdomen. Love it's bronze color and the clean blurred BG.
