[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
This is my second uploaded picture of the hippo, not one but two hippos, a couple I guess... Somebody told me that they are good swimmer, eventhough their bodies are so round and huge...

Hippo is strickly herbivora, just eat plants, not eating meat of any kinds. So, do not worry too much with this gentle mammal.

Redish color on their skin is the color of their sweat, I had been told. Is that correct?

lovely grouping and framed intelligently. these are some of my favourite animals..they look cuddly..but bite!!

I am not sure about hippopotamus and the color of the skinperiod for some reason, this photograph seems overly Sharp or maybe too much contrast ?
you certainly have fantastic subjects to photograph . You're lucky indeed.

Hi Ben,
I like the framing/composition a lot, very nice. A couple of points, the detail looks a wee bit soft, I'm guessing this was quite a hard crop. The other point is you've cropped the top a little too much as it's cut part of the Hippo's body out. Don't think I'm being negative though, I still think it's a nice shot, just trying to be helpful :-)

Hi Benyamin!
I like the family portrait of this giant family. It seems the male is chasing the female...

Hi Benyamin,
Very nice composition for your hippo's.
But hippo's can be dangerous even if they are plant eaters.
Well done and tFS

hehe, great shot, ben! :-)
the big mammals are really making waves.
wonderful composition of the 2 hippos in the water -
always cool to see the head or ears sticking out like
submarine periscopes.
well done & take care, thorsten.

I like the picture very much. I've heard they are very dangerous. You wrote they don't, but I don"t think so.

Hi Ben. Excellent close up of these two hippos. Agree they are herbivores but can attack men in their way maybe. Good clarity and colours. TFS.Murray.

Strange combination. Interesting! It almost look like on animal in two parts! The tight crop works well here, just a bit too tight at the top. The composition is good. Well done.

Such strange creatures these massive mammals are. But they can be dangerous to people, even if they don't eat them, they can attack them! And make a mess too.
The photo is a bit over bright or contrasted I think Ben. The composition is good with Mr chasing after Mrs, but the process looks a little off. Still, a good show, TFS

Hi Benyamin,

Nice composition and POV but I think it could have done with a bit more sharpened. TFS

Beautiful composition,Benyamin. They are a very nice couple. Great photo.

hello Benyamin,
Bella imágen, me gusta el encuadre y el momento captado, como un trencito subacuático.
me gusta también la iluminación y la mirada de los hipopótamos, pero no tanto el foco, está un poco suave.

This shot is very nice. I love the composition and framing of this photo. Good colors. The lighting is a bit harsh. This is when you would have benifited having a polarizor.

Hello Ben,
This is an interesting image!
Well composed, and you found a good positioning of the animals...
Nice composition... Good colours and fine details!
