Harbinger of Spring
|[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista|
|This snowless winter I could have missed the snowdrops if not for the Pancharevo gorge which is surrounded by steep rocks and sun reaches it's bottom for not more than one or two hours a day. I knew this place for many years and it did not disappoint me this year either. The forests along the river Iskar bed were full of snowdrops protruding among the fallen leaves of last atumnn.|

It's very good the contrast of this delicate and beauty flower and the busy background with dead leaves.
You managed so well the exposure to get a this clear deatils on the hanging flower.
I like so much the composition made and the DOF used to put away the background.
As a bonus, we have that little insect (an ant?) on the dark leaf at the foreclose right.
Congratulations and thanks for share the pic with us.
My best regards,
Merhaba Komshi Anton,

very nice image. it is fresh.
beautiful colours and well composed.
nice BG.well done.
thanks for sharing my friend
This is a fine composition, where the close-up work is well done!
Typical early spring where the leaves of last year still dominate the ground...
Good colours and details in the fresh flower!

Hi Anton. This flower is in perfect focus and the background is non-distracting. Good setting of the controls, and well cropped. The leaves in the foreground look almost 3-D on this monitor. TFS. Murray.
