Good capture of what would be an embarressing pose for humans but quite natural for these dudes. Lovely colours and good focus.
Pomysl i kompozycja swietne.. jednak jakosc techniczna zabila to zdjecie: jasne przepalenie na trawie i wyciagane na sile robalki do ostrosci. Czasem trzeba im pozwolic byc czesciowo nieostre ;) Bede marudzic bo robisz swietne zdjecia a ja bede Ci podnosic poprzeczke :)

Hi Grzegorz, very intimate picture and very good title. These do bear resemblence to longhorn beetles but they are of the family Cantharidae (Soldier and Sailor beetles) I'm not 100% on the species but this could possibly me C. lateralis?
Hi Grzegorz, great image of these beetles on the grass seed head.
I would agree with paul as to ident, have a look at this image of a soldier beetle or have look at the long list on google.
A wrong ident does not take away from the excelance of the image, learning about what we post is part of what TN is about, as they say nothing ventured nothing gained ;0))# nice one.

I am not sure about the ID, but I do know what they are up to! I'm to scared to say that I like this shot, but I do! Very well done.
Thanks for posting

Nice picture with a good title. Probably they did not come further than chapter 1.
I love the sharpness of the foreground and the vague background.
