very nice to see this duck you have posted today,we have them here but I seldom ever see them.Everything about this photo is right on the nose for the exposure, colour and details. There is one thing that mars this otherwise fine photo and it is that horrible plastic bag that someone has carelessly thrown on the ground.I wish people wouldn't throw garbage away like that as it looks awful and can be dangerous to our wild friends. He really is a fine looking fellow and I like very much his plumage patterns as there is so much texture.I used to live near Marie Curtis Park back in the late eighties.Mario if you get the chance follow Etobicoke Creek from the lake north to the railroad bridge by the QEW.I used too and I saw deer, owls, skunks numerous little birds and the odd pheasant as well, and the last time I took a walk in the area was in 1989,even now you should still have some photo opportunities as there are no buildings allowed in the streams and rivers in the area as hurricane Hazel flooded out this creek and the others in the greater Toronto area. Thanks for this post. Bob
