Un jeune Renard roux
10 avril 2006 - Parc Jean Drapeau - Île Notre-Dame - Montréal

* Renards roux

This one is beautiful as other your works. It reflects the state of this charming baby excellently. I like amazing delicate colour palette of your picture, its pleasant "soft sharpness" and composition. Perfect done. My compliments and the best wishes.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, sharpness, focus, color, lighting, framing, background, notes.

I don't like it: nothing.

Une grande présentation esthétique et techniquement parlant.
Merci et salutations... Ricardo

Hello Luc,

It's good to see you posting again after so many backbone members have left. This is a very nice picture (maybe a wee bit dull when it comes to the colors). The little fox is a real cutie. Sharp focus and good fur detail. POV and DOF are nice. Well done & TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Alas... it grows up. Still I the foxes evades me my friend. I would love to get only one of our Cape Fox. :)

I trust you keep well Luc?

Kind regards

Bonjour Luc,

Merci,

Hi Luc

As the saying goes: "One swallow does not make a summer" so it was with this posting. While the overwhelming joy at your ‘return’ was clearly evident from many of the critiques you received here, it turned out to be a ‘hit-and-run’ scenario. Ha-ha-ha, sly old fox you. You gave us just a little taste of Luc and then left us in suspension hoping for and waiting for the next post. Who knows when? Anyway, it was a pleasure to see an upload from you again my ‘youthful’ and energetic friend. (Remember youth is not necessarily just in the flesh, but it is also a state of mind.)

I suppose by now Lucy’s cubs are all out of the den and finding their own meals, somewhere else in another nick of the woods. You probably miss them as much as we miss you. Seems like this little guy is contemplating whether he should kick you or bite you. Maybe he knows all about the fact that you’re not posting any photos on TN (ha-ha-ha). Fortunately I know from your delicate footprints that you are still moving about throughout the activities on the TN site. Be it like a ghost though, but as always overlooking our comings and goings. That remains a great comfort to me.

As usual, this photo was taken with the same sensitivity we have become accustomed to see from you. Your close proximity to the little cub confirms the trust that Lucy and her offspring awarded you. Technically everything is in place and at the correct levels. The composition is thoughtfully prepared with the tree framing it on the right. The colours, details, DOF, BG, and exposure are all excellently done. As always, you have reproduced and posted a wonderful shot.

Great work and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Luc.
Great shot. DOF is good. Picture of the fox is nice and sharp and sets off nicely against the out of focus background. Your POV and composition is superb.
Thanks for sharing this on.
