It looks very defiant in that pose! Great colour against the blues sky and the skin tone. Good detail, original idea.

Very nice Ninfa pose is good one the sky very smooth the one small point that lets it down is the point of sharpest focus seems to be in the hind part, leaving the head a little soft (((. The notes are good too nice one.

Great capture af this Religious Mantis Ninfa and you had the nerve to let him sit on your hand - well done. Nice sharpness and pose and the clear blue sky really sets him off. Very nice job you did here.

looks like he is on adune against the lovely blue background, then you open the thumbnail and see afinger. This is a very nice pose, Ninfa, annd oops, all the coins are spend!
Beautiful photo Ninfa, great colour and frame.
Very nice capture of this little creature. Whe have lots of them aroud here and they are truly amazing creatures. But you have joggrd my memory with this and here is the joke I remembered
A hunter is tired and he decides to have a nap under a big tree. He hangs his rifle in the tree and lies down. After a short while he is awakened by something sniffing at his toes. As he opened his eyes he noticed an enormous lion sniffing at his feet (remember the rifle is hanging in the tree) He started to pray and uttered the following words - Dear lord, Please let this be a religious lion! and he heard the lion say Lord, we thank you for the meal laid before us!
Moral of the story - Be careful what you ask for!

Excelente acercamiento, parece que esta en pie de lucha, me gusta mucho el azul del fondo contrastando el verde de la mantis y el color de la piel. Tambien tu nota esta muy interesante.

Now, I am expecting Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith to come running over that sand dune any minute. This picture seems so surreal - I can't decide if the Mantis is seven feet tall and standing on a sand dune, or millimetre tall and standing on something smaller. For me, this duality of the photograph is what makes it so special.
el fotografía excelente molte bene (I think)

This is brilliant! Very sharp and good use of colours. It´s amazing, looks like a cartoon or the toys created by computer to movies like "Find it Nemo" or "Toy Story", very good indeed but of course the most surprising and fascinating is the pray position of his hands, fantastic!

Man! This photo is amazing! I love mantis! Here in Brazil they are called "Louva Deus".
In your photo I can see all the details of the Mantis and this is the first time a saw one in this size! All I have seen are about 10 cm heigth.

Buenas noches Ninfa:
