[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
This basalt cliff face was one of the most beautiful features of all the basalt outcroppings and cliffs that I had seen at Twickenham. The John Day River is near this canyon and has great fishing and is the strating point for white water rafting on this section of the John Day. The John Day River is the longest, uninterrupted free flowing river in Oregon and Washington, and holds many treasures along its banks during any month. The river can be navigated during spring months as the depth of the river declines during the summer.

Hello Steven,
At first Congratulations for your 100th post. Looking at your last pictures I must say that Oregon looks quite interesting what concerns its geology. And this cliff has amazing shapes, very artistically displayed like a human sculpture. Amazing color also of these rocks.
Well seen.
My best regards
