Hi Rick,
More than one Congratulations on this shot. First on TN, getting both sexes in one frame, and a wonderful picture. We do get a hint of the yellow bellies so don't be so disappointed. Both woodpeckers are posed so nicely on the tree. Colors and details are excellent. I would never have guessed they were the same species. Enjoy the rest of your vacation and get home safely.

Hello Rick
A wonderful capture.
Excellent display of sexual dimorphism. The plumage colouration and detail is super.
You caught them on their own doorstep.
Wow!

Howdy Rick!
How the heck did this pair chisel out an owl on that bark!
You got THREE birds with one click!
As this is a FANTASTIC shot I did a small workshop on it...
Hope you ( & Lucy ) like!
So long pa'dner!

Hi Rick.
I like that you have new amazing camera and came back here with new shot despite the circumstances. Wonderful clear shot of a nice bird pair at very impressive old tree. Framing of the scene, DOF and details are great. I also like soft lightning and nice natural colours of the shot. All the best to you and nice kind wife Lucy.
Yours Alexei.

Hy Rick
A good picture with this pair. Are woodpeckers?? I like the spotted female from the right, and still the yellow color is visible a little, but all we can imagine how this speciles looks like.
Kind regards
Oana
