It is good to see a posting from you again. I would love to be walking in a field like this, as I think the photographic oppertunities will be endless, not only for the flowers but also the insect life. This is such a relaxed and calm landscape with a variety of colours and different elements of nature all in one. I like the wide opened space in your image, as one can look far back into the distance and it seems as the view just do not dissapear. Thanks for sharing this view. Best regards.

great to see another post from you, and knowing that you've been to Oregon i bet we can expect some beautiful images from you.
Looks like it was a very still day, the flowers and grass are sharp with no movement. The light reflects the time of the day very well too, and although the sky is a little empty, that lone wisp of cloud does make up for it.
The Lee filters have worked very well here too. I can't find any to buy anywhere, it seems the machine at their factory has broken! Looking forward to the Elk shots.

This is a very nice landscape shot with appealing subdued colors. The light is great and suggestive of the peace that dusk brings. Very nice foreground with the flowers.

Finally! A post from your Oregon trip.
I enjoyed talking to you too. It IS great to actually connect in person!
I read your travelogue and am glad that you had a great time in Oregon.
Oregon has some beautiful spots, and you have certainly captured one of them. A well-composed scenery with a wide-open vista, well anchored by the log and flowers in the FG. I like the crisscrossing of the lines in the top third (wispy cloud, hill slopes, tree lines).
Is it me or does the image seem to slope to the left side?
TFS and am looking forward to seeing the rest of your Oregon photos. : )
Hi Niek. What a beautiful place to stay on holiday. To wake up and see all of this. As you say not a lot of cloud but you have made the most of what you had. Good use of the wood in the forground a nice compostion all round. With natural looking eve colours. wel ldone TFS.
Have you see anything of horia.
een aardig landschap van Oregon.
Goed standpunt met mooie kleuren, ben benieuwd naar je sluitertijd.

This is a very fine, somehow melancholic picture of this open Oregon landscape.I like the point of view you have chosen with the daisies in the front. I'm looking forward to see other shots, having seen some wonderful pictures of this State on TN from other members.
un bon dimanche

The use of a tripod and of an exposur speed of 1/25 of a seconds is giving a nice landscape. The point of view takes us throught the valley toward the mountains which is giving depth to the composition. The sunset is giving nice colors to the scenery. Have a nice day.
