|Species photographed at the coordinates: Latitude: 31 ° 38'21.61 "S; Longitude: 60 ° 43'0.02" W. These numbers seem a little cold, but if they enter Google Earth and make a "Street view" view, you will see that this beautiful bird was perched on a large native tree (probably a "Jacaranda") that stands in the middle of a beautiful avenue Of my city, the old colonial capital, Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz. This avenue is in the heart of a provincial capital of 500,000 inhabitants (but relatively close to the Rio Salado and its almost virgin islands.|

Bold upward looking perspective, Hernan.
The eye with the catch-light in it is magnificent.
Here also, the blue sky makes a wonderful background.

I'm on a short holiday in DANUBE DELTA (heaven on earth for any photographer). I do not have much time for comment.....

What a neat capture of this stripe-backed bittern, I actually thought it was a Green heron when I first viewed the thumbnail image. It must have seen something interesting up above from the way it has turned its attention to the sky. Our chickens do the same thing whenever a hawk flies over. Nicely focused and displaying natural colors.
