Hi friends in TN,

The NE wind is blowing strong in my homeland and this means a long dry spell is already here. Rain will be expected in March or April and the grass is dying up. Skippers and dry form butterflies are homing for the night as this shot was registered rather late in the evening.

Thanks for viewing and have a wonderful weekend ahead.

Regards,
Jusni

Hello Jusni,
A fine closed-wing portrait of an attractive species of Skipper taken from a fine POV with good sharpness and lighting,
The flower that it is resting on is also fascinating in this pleasing composition.

Hi Jusni,

A wonderful shot of this little Skipper on the flower that I cannot identify. You captured the butterfly in a great position to show him off. Nice colors and details and a lovely composition. A belated Happy New Year.

Hello Jusni !
Another excellent shot from you ! I love all the details, on both the moth and the 'hairy' flower (I thnk she is as beautiful as the moth, in this case).I also like the blurred BG, the composition, the POV and the pose of the Skipper. You also managed the light of yur flash perfectly. Very wel done !
Valerie.

Hi Jusni,

Excellent detail and sharpness in this fine composition. A very interesting pattern on its wings too, quite different than most Skippers.

Thanks,
John

Hi Jusni.
What a crisp sharp image of the small butterfly and impressive flower. Combination of wonderfully illuminated main subject (by precise flash light) and damper up and also nicely coloured BG is great. POV and composition of the shot are blameless too. Excellent macro shot. My compliments.
Alexei.

Salam Jusni,
yes...I culd feel the dry wind seizing the day. The moisture seems to evaporate too soon before you realise the insects and crawlies are hiding. The mushroom coiled up is desperateness, but the hunters keep on going.
The beauty of this earth is still plenty at any time.
Have a wonderful dry season hunting.
A nice capture of this superbs sharp skipper.

Regards,
Foozi
