Magnifica compbinación the bottom with a butterfly detail. Excellent timing 1/75s, has allowed great detail and good lighting. The composition you have been superb, I like the decision to use insect in inverted form, this conveys a sense of naturalness rather interesting.!
Regards & TFS!

Good show HP..You have posed it as if it is doing quite the balancing act. The grassy backdrop is a nice colour which helps bring out the colours in teh focal...well done and superior notations as per your usual.

This unusual butterfly is beautifully recorded, with fine details of its deeply veined wings, and also of the method by which it holds on to the stalk.
I love the upsidedown pose!

This may be the first time I am seeing a Baron. A very unusual and lovely position giving a fine view of the wing and the head. Marvelous colors and details in a pretty natural setting.

A very unique pose captured from a lovely vantage point, HP!
I had the pleasure of meeting this butterfly only once and that too in Goa, HP.
It is obvious you have a variety of wild life in Orissa.
This picture of the Common Baron is quite interesting. Good that you did not rotate the picture and kept the original pose.
The picture is quite sharp and attractive, though I would have liked to see it with its upper wings exposed.
Thanks and regards.

Hello Haraprasan !
He is not as colored as some other species, but he is just as beautiful, in his own way. And you have also captured him with great skill and talent - the sharpness, details, colors, composition, POV and pose of the butterfly with the head down are excellent. Very well done !
