White-tail deer (Odocoileus virginianus).

Texas has 3-4 million White-tail deer. Fawns less than six months of age have bright white spots scattered on their coats.
White-tails live primarily in wooded and brushy areas, such as the Texas Hill Country.
This picture was taken at the golf course at Inks Lake State Park.
