[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
The Northeastern section of the USA, notably New England, is renowned for it's autumn color. There are many factors that go into making our colors brilliant . As most know, green leaves mean that chlorophyll is present and is making food for the tree or plant by means of using light in a process known as photosynthesis. As the days shorten light wise in length the green pigments fade and colors that were always present are able to be reflected by the light.

This is , I believe, a Birch sapling that I captured looking a bit like stained glass as the setting sunlight passed through it's leaves.

Belle composition d'automne pleine de charme. Belles couleurs et bonne PdC.
Well done !

tres jolie photo de nature, le faite que la branche occupe la diagonale est vraimet bien :)
dommage qu'il n'y a pas un insecte dessus ;)

Lovely warm autumnal colours Lesley. Well seen.

Hi lesley an amazing glow of autumn colour, just soft enough to feel warm.
I would surrgest another ident for it though, I am fairly certain you have a Populus tremular the Quaking Aspen. If you look at the petiole the bit of stem betwwen the leaf blade and the woody stem it is flatterned to make it thin which is why when the wind blows even very gently the leaves shake/ quake

Hi Leslie
Lovely picture and analogy! Very artistic, I enjoy your posts

Good shot! I really like the effect of the light streaming through the autumnal foliage which you've captured here. Fall is my favourite time of year due to the very colours you've captured here. I'm slightly undecided as to whether I'd have preferred a little more DOF to get the whole branch into sharper focus, or whether that would have caused the foliage in the background layer to become intrusive. Nicely captured :-D

P.S. I've posted a Workshop to add a little more impact, I hope you'll like it!
