|[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista|
|Shot this Collared Dove today morning from the terrace of my house. Electric cables are the favorite perches of most birds seen in urban settings.|
The Eurasian collared dove (Streptopelia decaocto), most often simply called the collared dove, also sometimes hyphenated as Eurasian collared-dove, is a species of dove native to warm temperate and subtropical Asia, and introduced in North America in the 1980s.
Collared doves are sometimes kept in aviculture, and form strong relationships with each other.

A beautiful bird for sure which you've captured so nicely by your lens. Well detailed plumage while the catchlight in its eye is always the icing on the cake for me.
The dove has always been a symbol of peace and this shot shows why. It's lovely features alone have such a peaceful contented look.
When photographing wildlife in the urban outdoors we have no control over where they decide to perch, I don't mind a wire or pole in instances like this. I'm sure if you had your preference you would rather have had it land on a close-up branch;)
Hello Mr. Thakur,
A lovely shot of the Collared Dove. The catch light in its eye has transformed the picture. Thank You for sharing.
