[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
While in Israel I saw many beautiful landscapes, but this barren desert terrain still sticks in my memory.

While looking out over this dry barren land I could only imagine the struggles of trying to travel or even live in such a desolate area.

One thing I remember very well was taking my first and only camel ride here, which was pretty cool.

I will post this thrilling event in a WS.

Beautiful angle and great light led to a lovely desert scene. I'm not able to tell where exactly this one was shot..

Liked your cable, too.....

TFS, Ron,

Very interesting desert landscape, Ron. Quite different from what I used to see in Saudi Arabia while I lived there for 5 years. What amazes me is that scattered vegetation on the slopes.
Your perspective also gives a distant view of the human habitation beyond the hills. Apparently, these hills make a fascinating background to those settlements.

Ciao Ron, fascinating desert landscape, wonderful colors, splendid light and excellent clarity, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Ron,
I like landscape very much and sometime try to capture although now I don't have proper lens.
I like this desert terrain. Well light and POV.
But personally I prefer more depth of field in landscape photograph. Although you have used f/16 but focus isn't well distributed (left part OOF) which I think an essential. Composition could have been more attractive in my choice where eye will not stroll through out the frame. I mean a focusing point which would be bit different than same terrain.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice WE,

Hi Ron,

The wideness of the area is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the dunes. The good luminosity is bringing out the colours. Have a nice day.

Hello Ron

Beautiful landscape photography with fine POV and framing,
beautiful light and contrast between warm and cold color tones, TFS
