|Hello friends, I was lucky to have seen this|
Pileated Woodpecker so close today.
1/3200s f/5.6 ISO1600 85mm (35mm eq:127mm).
There is no 1/3200 in TN's database.
« The Pileated Woodpecker is one of the biggest,
most striking forest birds on the continent. It’s nearly
the size of a crow, black with bold white stripes down
the neck and a flaming-red crest. Look (and listen)
for Pileated Woodpeckers whacking at dead trees
and fallen logs in search of their main prey,
carpenter ants, leaving unique rectangular
holes in the wood. The nest holes these birds
make offer crucial shelter to many species including
swifts, owls, ducks, bats, and pine martens. »

Tu as bien capturé le vol du Pic bois. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du Grand Pic. L'image est claire et nette. La bonne luminosité rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hi Asbed,a "fresh" pic from your cold winter,a great opportunity this woodpecker so close, and you caught this lucky moment in a perfect way, great sharpness as usual! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Ciao Asbed, great capture of lovely woodpeacker in nice pose, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, have a good weekend, ciao Silvio
It's true there isn't 1/3200 seconds in the dropdown menu, this was also new for me. :-) This photo, in my opinion, is a good documentation shot about your meeting with this species, but nothing more. Wrong camera angle, the PoV is too low, and there's too much noise on the plumage due to the very high ISO. Background's also distractingly busy. A pity, because the woodpecker's pose is spectacular, and in different surroundings the open wings might be really conspicuous and alone would be capable of selling the photo to the viewer.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
It's always nice to find 🆕 species as a photographer 😊
I also sometime use such High ISO. But her it could have been more attractive if you could framed it vertically, IMHO 😊
Digital noise can be seen due to high ISO, although you tried to remove them. But not such bad picture.
Thanks for sharing 😊 your work,
