Hello Evelynn,
what a great place, this is very calming to look at. Beautiful colors and textures. POV, sharpness and composition are winderful.

That is definitely a photo-worthy lake Evelynn. It kinda leaves me wanting more of the BG forest and mountains that are poking up above the trees. FG brush and the logs on the lake bottom are a nice addition to the POV.

Hi Evelynn,
Superb shot of this gorgeous landscape. Sharp, clear, and nice details. Nice colors. Well captured and nicely composed.

I was just commenting on one of Steve (signal-womb's) shots without an obvious focal point. And I think this is another one. This seems to be a new thing in photography and I find it interesting. There are certainly lots of interesting things to look at here, the light in the fg, the logs under the lake, the tiny island, the trees in the bg, and the mountains in the distance. They are all very well rendered and seem to play into this new estetic. As they use to say on Hogan's Heros, "Vedddy interesting..." Evelynn.

this is one of those pictures where there is so much going on (not a bad thing that is) but my eyes are drawn constantly to those logs which tell me a number of things.

the first is how clean the water is,
the second how cold it must be
the third is that I'm guessing these lakes used to be covered in a layer of floating logs from the logging
industry. I can't see how else something so uniform and clearly cut, could have got there.
and the forth is that it must have been quite a number of years ago, given the amount of decay and silt they are covered in in such a calm lake.

great capture, showing more that I'm guessing you had first though of.

Hi Evelynn,
What a blue colored lake, and what a clarity. I like the tree line in this shot, it leads me diretly toward the center and onward to the mountains.

Hi Evelynn,

I would think that if you could include more of sky to make the proportion better. \

Hi Evelyn
This is a beautiful shot. I think I have never seen a lake so clear. Wonderful colors. I, along with Emma (Aramok) was drawn to the logs. I think I read somewhere that these logs that were harvested by loggers long ago and have been on the bottom for so long are now being raised and sold for lots of money. I hope they do not find your beautiful little lake.
