I spent a great week’s holiday on Norfolk Island (Norfuk: Norfuk Ailen), a small inhabited island in the South Pacific Ocean located between Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.
It is located at 29°02′S, 167°57′E. It has an area of 34.6 km² (13.3 mi²), with no large-scale internal bodies of water but 32 km of coastline. The climate is subtropical and mild, with little seasonal differentiation, and always warmer than New Zealand.... (full story) (10 photos)
On 27 July 2006, my daughter, Carolyn, and I flew to Melbourne, Australia, for a short five-night stay. We had a wonderful time together, fitting in as many shops and sight seeing as we could.
We did a really special trip up the Yarra Valley, visiting 4 of the local wineries with the Great Aussie Wine Tour.
And another special visit was to Federation Square, in Melbourne itself. I wish I could have stayed longer and taken more photos of this amazing place.
I hope you enjoy the photos.

My husband Dave and I were away for a few days, travelling north of Auckland and staying at Hokianga, Kerikeri and Whangarei.
I hope you will enjoy my photos taken on this trip. We know this area well, and always love to 'go north' again.... (full story) (17 photos)
